Now it wont make a blind bit of difference.

Roberto's situation has been resolved yesterday. It's gone his way. Never in a million years will BK sack RM. He'd have to have us dancing on the relegation trap door.
BK will have no say mate.
A man who owns nearly half our club will be the decision maker and el coco knows its time to walk the walk or walk the plank

Unfortunately you're wrong, BK say is now a small say. Foshiri owns 49.9% of the club, he only needs a small percentage to push a motion in favour.

^^^^ It's like listening to two people who think the Earth is still flat a day after it's been discovered it is in fact round.

You lad's are on the wrong side of history. Yesterday was the final nail in your cause's coffin. Your game is up. You lost. You lost Big Time.

You don't become a billionaire without being able to spot a blag artist and a weak link in the set up, time for suffering fools is looking like coming to an end. It's one thing Kenwright trusting Martinez with his own train set but someone else will have has his hand on the dead mans handle very soon and he won't be putting up with Martinez for long.

lollollollollol

Says the man who has no understanding of how the boardroom works. Yeah BK still has final say, ok dave

I think whether Bill Kenwright or the 49.9% Moshiri have the final say or not is a mute point. The statement shows that they are partners and going to work together.

Bill Kenwright sacked Walter Smith, who was his good friend and helped the club in tough times off the field. If they agreed to make a decisive move, like try and attract a Mourinho, I would not be surprised because Bill Kenwright would not be in big business unless he had a slightly ruthless streak himself.

He will be bricking it after taking us backwards.
At last a new owner that will want answers and trophies

Backwards!!! is open to opinion, you see I don't think he has. We IMO are more geared up for success than we have been for many a year and from youth to full team. Depends how you look at it. Now I feel he will be given the time with better resources to see how he does. If RM left now you would have to hold your hand up and say we are in a stronger position than when he came.

Martinez's position has be strengthened by the events this weekend.

Kenwright has remained in influence and he believes in Martinez.

Everything points to Moshiri adopting evolution not revolution, plus money will be available to Martinez to invest in the summer in players.

You will have Martinez as manager of Everton for this calendar year at least suckers.
Sure..we all suck at 12th now...

Stay civil or keep quiet.

This is unquestionably the case. And RM's words on the topic of the takeover in recent weeks emphasize that he knew BK would be remaining in place and that his own position had been secured also...as you say, for the foreseeable.

Progress will have to be made in PL position next season, for sure. But this Martinez in/out debate this season has been put to bed. Anyone doubting that is not paying attention.

Looking forward to watching him do his job now and take us from 12th up the table.
Pressure is on at last can el coco handle it and rise to the challenge

Although I see Davek's point and understand the perfect logic I also see that the media have been putting pressure on Roberto Martinez and a lot of fans have been phoning the radio and complaining. There have been a lot of boos at Goodison and two straight wins papers over this. I don't think it would take much more of that for Martinez's position to not be very secure.

Two defeats in a row and I could see this all changing. We know how football can work and wouldn't it be ironic if Mourinho was in charge of Everton for the Chelsea quarter final.
