Above us with an infinitely worse squad. Would probably be doing a better job than Martinez.Or Pulis.

Imagine how rom feels scoring winning goals only to walk off the pitch with nothing to show for it? 18 league goals, over 20 goals overall and right now his old club west brim are above him.Yesterday was a turning point for me, I gotta admit, to see how happy Besic was winning that peno and then us not only missing it, but going on to lose the game was to much for my Mo to take.
He deserves better.
You say we can go toe to toe with anyone but who have we beaten anyone that's any good this season. Last season the only good team we beat was United. We don't beat anyone unless they are relegation material. But the thing is, if we battered Chelsea 3 0, we wouldnt be that surprised. Well we would, but you get the point. We can go toe to toe with anyone. But we can also do an Everton.
Sake Bobby.
That's a future pairing that could take us places. McCarthy great at getting back and covering ground and besic great box to box player.haha.
He was superb though.
Barry's been class this season and I think he'll start on Saturday, but it has to be in a three with Besic and McCarthy next to him. Put Barkley and Lennon either side of Rom and we look a different side.
Then, when we're playing teams we will have to go on the front foot against, I'd play Besic at home rather than Barry, and save Gaz for the away games.
One of the positives yesterday for me was seeing McCarthy and Besic work so well as a partnership.
Neither are.Still not good enough for us, by a long chalk.
I'd love someone to vault my lists from last year, be curious to see how much of my opinion then rings true 12 months later!
We aren't a sacking club, and under our new ownership since the 90s we have also gone nowhere. We are a mid table club which is baffling to say, but its true. Teams who were in a lower division not too long ago are outperforming us, consistently as well.
There's a fat lad on the Wirral who fits that brief....We need an experienced manager who has achieved European Qualification and preferably a cup or two with a similarly sized club in Europe. The talent we have means someone has managed in Spain or Italy could do ok at Everton now, whereas when Moyes was there they would have struggled.

I disagree. How is a manager supposed to stop players throw leads away in a game? He cant hold their hands. They are grown men and should stand up and be counted instead of acting like the jelly fish most of them are....the divvy captain most of all.
I know. I said it a few weeks ago. He's an absolute bell but he can organise a team. Now we have some money as well he could bring a few in, albeit he did sign some dross in his latter days with the RS.There's a fat lad on the Wirral who fits that brief....

No mate. Penalties are missed sometimes - it happens. The 3rd goal there would've just been a luxury, but at home, a 2-0 lead should be enough to win the game.
Penalty miss or no penalty miss, you have a two goal lead with 10 minutes to go and lose. It's unacceptable. The way we manage leads is terrible. I walked out the pub at 2-1 yesterday because I knew exactly what was coming. It's a sad day when you know exactly what's going to happen, and Everton do absolutely nothing to prove you wrong.
