Roberto Martinez discussion

Does it really matter? What point are you actually making?

Go for your life by all means, doesn't alter the fact though that we are 12th, conceding shed loads of goals and not beating many teams all season out of the bottom 3

It's obvious you don't want Everton to be a bottom end of the table side, so why accept it and act as though there are is no other choice based on some different lame excuse every week?
Answer my question mate please.

That wasn't the question mate.

We have played well this season, and we do play good football and there haven't been many times you'd come away saying we deserved to lose.

Personally I think that's more down to the fact we're simply better than most teams in the league.

It obviously is.

And that's down to both Martinez and the players. They have to take some of the blame. I really do think that maybe this team just isn't as good as it's made out to be???
We've won 4 home games in nearly a year. I don't think it's that hard to win more than that, a competent manager would have won a lot more.

How many games this season did you come away from thinking we deserved to lose? Please list them.
Sake.
If was dead happy with my new plotter status until this.

If I'm being honest, I can only say Bournmouth in the FA cup.. Purely on the first half performance, where, in my opinion only like... We were bloody awful.

But the question is deserved to lose isn't it.. So..

NONE !!

Following on from that question about being outplayed/out playing teams, given that we aren't where we should be based on performances, does that mean the Martinez philosophy is fundamentally flawed, or does there just need to be a couple of tweaks before we start flattening teams?

City at home, spanked like utter bishes
United at home, see above, this time be a terrible team
Arsenal away, schooled
Bournemouth away, game management
Palace home, Pardewered
Leicester home, out fought, on our own manor
Stoke home, BLEH
Chelsea away, game management
Swansea frigging City at home, SACK
City away, beaten by a team of utter mutants
West Brom home, Tony frigging Pulis
West Ham, game management

So game management is clearly an issue that needs to be addressed then.

Then answer my question please mate.
What question? Out of the 7 games lost 5 have been by the odd goal whether that be the odd on in 1, 3, 5 or 7. It doesn't matter how great we seem to be going forward the opposition know they are going get chances to score. Playing like this all the time and we have gotten exactly what we deserved. Trying to make it look any better than it is by saying we deserved this and that is just getting desperate.

No more questions your honour.

Right now it has to be that. I think we outplay teams because we have better players.

We don't win matches because we lack game management, a competent defensive unit and the mentality to see games out. These are things Martinez should be sorting out.
