Would put my house on it mate!
Still hard to ignore the points bluestevon makes though, and I'm a big Martinez fan.

45 points lost from winning positions in his tenure
I don't get all this the penalty was a turning point, we were still 2-0 up and bossed the game up to the penalty, why do any of the players heads go down or it affects them, they are still 2-0 up.
Just shut up shop, see the game out, bring on an extra midfielder, Pulis was 1-0 up playing against 10 men Man U and he brought a forward off to pack the midfield with another body in there.
I've never seen Martinez in 3 season shut up shop, protect what he's got, and by god we've lost enough commanding positions in games for him to learn it's got to be done sometimes, attack, attack, attack does not work, you need a balance.
I'm no psychologist mate but you can't deny that missing penalties in a match affects how you perceive the rest of the match. I get that we were 2-0 up and so it shouldn't be an excuse but I don't think you can deny that it knocks the players' confidence a bit.I don't get all this the penalty was a turning point, we were still 2-0 up and bossed the game up to the penalty, why do any of the players heads go down or it affects them, they are still 2-0 up.

Defensive sub at 2-2, too late, another bad sub, go negative at 2-0 not 2-2.And yet when he does make a decensive sub (Barry for Rom) we still concede with both DM's losing track of Payet.
Barry and Besic are getting off quite easy IMO.
I am denying it, we've bossed the game and are 2-0 up, missing a Pen should not mean draw or defeat at 2-0 up FFS.I'm no psychologist mate but you can't deny that missing penalties in a match affects how you perceive the rest of the match. Are our players robots? It's natural that they react negatively and get distracted by a missed penalty, it is human nature. The same feelings of frustration and disappointment we all felt as fans they will be feeling as players on the pitch because they want us to win as well.I am denying it, we've bossed the game and are 2-0 up, missing a Pen should not mean draw or defeat at 2-0 up FFS.

The most goals conceded at home of any team in the top 6 leagues in Europe
45 points lost from winning positions in his tenure
More losses at home than in Moyes last 3 seasons
Middle ranking?
Positions finished in Moyes last 7 seasons 6,5,5,8,7,7,6, a mean of 6th - which however way you want to look at it isn't middle ranking it's top 30% of the league taken from 7 seasons so its no fluke, usually enough for a good shot at qualifying for Europe, 8th highest paying in wages which has been our consistant position the past 3 seasons - so not too moderately backed on that count.
If we are going to think of Everton as middle ranking then maybe the reason is a manager who looks like having 2 consecutive bottom half finishes has a part to play in that.
Manager of 'this quality' - exactly what quality is that Dave? Seriously a manager who has managed two achievements of note in his 7 years in the top flight, the 72 point trophy, and the fa cup, to counter both those though, the 72 point trophy saw us beat Arsenal to have 4th in our own hands and we absolutely bottled it with some bizarre managerial decisions thrown in to help (resting McCarthy lol), and the fa cup came at the cost of being relegated.
What quality is he showing where it really matters - the results - the quality to get 5th then 11th and now be sat in 12th Dave?
Maybe the new owner will aspire to more than style over substance - which is exactly what martinez is btw, all style no substance, why should we sack him - can sum it up in one simple sentence mate, we should sack him because he has shown now he is not good enough for the job
Dents Lukaku's confidence i can probably accept, however everyone knew from the moment we missed that West Ham would get a boost and put pressure on us, that was the moment to change the game and shut up shop.
Martinez didn't, we lost.

I don't normally read the Metro - but i seen the below article about how Martinez should get the sack and read this...
"
‘You don’t win games by changing the style. You win games by being very, very good at what you do and changing only brings doubts.’
That was Roberto Martinez back in December 2014, with his Everton side in the midst of a slump in form that had seen them lose three games in a row over Christmas. It would later become four after a miserable 2-0 loss at Hull on New Year’s Day.

He isn't changing his style, his removal of Lennon for Niasse while the wrong sub was an almost stamp of his feet that his style is one he removes to change from.
When we missed the Pen we as fans didn't think oh that's it now, we are going to lose, 2-0 up in command all game West Ham had created nothing up to then. Are our players robots?
