I was pleased with that 'mini' run and the 3-0 win v Man Utd. But there can be no doubt that after we lost at Stoke a large section of the fans weren't happy. Personally I think he'll get a chance again next season. But last years 'success' has been wiped now. The jury is out in my view. An indifferent start next season and it could be difficult for him.

If we're struggling by December, then I'll start questioning if Martinez is the right man for the job.
 

Like him or hate him he's not going anywhere soon. He will be here this time next year. I worry about the transfers in the summer. We have a decent squad I feel will be weakened in this transfer market. We are a far better team than our current position but we will be mid table again next year as at least 1 of stones mc carty lukaku will be sold and not replaced to their potential level. I'm lucky I lost interest since our position became safe otherwise I'd be going lup de lup like some of ye. Don't worry, after a summers rest a woeful transfer market and a couple crap performances pre season my angerometer will start to rise again

Thats where I sort of stand mate. Want to give him a chance but my patience won't stretch beyond the first 15 games next season if we carry on in this vein because I think the players we have should have us in 6th or 7th at the very least.

Based on some performances of the players this season, I think not.
