Roberto Martinez discussion

There is a Clique at the club and it's costing us points on the field. Martinez, Naismith, Barry and now Cleverly and those said 3 players have to play some minutes on the field week in week out.

Why sign Kev up on a new deal then never play him? Why sign Deloufeu then again never play him?

His obsession with stuffing the midfield with central players never works but he just can't stop it. Playing Man City will paper over the cracks but make no mistake it'll be the same crap against a poor Spurs side.

Leicester have a poor team but pace and width gets them results teams can't handle it

Cleverley had a very good game mate. Barry was good as well.

He's not and won't be the man to take us forward.

Let Kone started. Then played Nais on the left wing with no winger till five mins left. I am confused. We did not have much attacking threat and we have been crap at home for over a year.

Maybe McCarthy and Barry in the middle every match is the problem too?

What? Naismith came on as a sub and Cleverley was one of our best players who's only just arrived.

Are you taking the puss?

We will see how he shapes up against the lesser teams, maybe being more cautious against the likes of city and playing less 'luxury' players and more consistent performers.

The obsession with Cleverely, Barry and McCarthy is there for all to see and it's my biggest concern at the moment.

It seems like Barry has actually had an okay start to the season? Haven't seen enough of the three games to truly comment, but it would make sense given he's had the summer break to refresh himself. Unfortunately fatigue will soon kick in due to his age and he won't be rotated, I'll even bet that he starts in the League Cup game.

Martinez has a reputation for being a positive manager but his tactics actually are really negative and do little to hurt the opposition.
