You missed my point. Our defence looked very unsure and all over the place. Having a keeper they trust behind them would have helped that. Joel is the quietest keeper I've ever seen and he looked completely unsure all game.

Wouldn't go that far but after inheriting one of if not the best defence in the league and loaning one of the best strikers in the league i certainly expected a top four finish. still believe we can get it mind but it's not good enough at the moment.

My concern is we are playing with Moyes defence. Wigan were very leaky under Roberto so once the defence goes he will have to build his own. Attacking wise we lack cutting edge...far too many bodies in midfield and virtually no assists played through the middle (we have one of the lowest stats in the league). Two holding central midfielders offer zero going forward.

Time will tell I guess nobody can see into the future but it's my belief that under him our average final position will be lower than under Moyes I can't say for sure but we will see who is proven right starting with this season
