free is such a relative term. just because he's not in contract doesn't mean any one could sign him.
He only went to Utd because he thought De Gea was away. He'd be after Champions league at the least. The shouts of the Man Utd 3rd and 4th are credible but they'd be expecting European football at least as well, then there's the matter of Utd agreeing to send them to another top end Premiership club...

Good solid start to the season if we keep it up it would be interesting to see where it would put us. And that's with the injuries we've had to put up with.

I still think that the last 6 games - given the nature of our fixture list - with 3 draws and 3 wins merits the Manager of the Month award for the Catalan Wizard. Wenger will get it now like.

based on this season, i don't want him to get manager of the month. october has just started anyway.

what exactly was you problem with his performance today? he was my MOTM.

I agree that he's getting on and does need replacing, but we've had greater priorities until now. Bobby has already said he thinks Besic should be pushing for his place, but it's up to Besic to step up to the plate when given an opportunity. At the moment Barry is showing so much more maturity and ability to control a match, it does make you wonder about Besic.
Besic IS a player, I'm glad he's ours, I just wish he'd grow up a bit and take on-board what's being asked of him rather than what he thinks he wants to do. He IS the guy to take over from Barry, if only he could work out what he's supposed to be doing in that position.

International break now gives a chance to get Stones Coleman & Mirallas back.
plus more time for Baines ...its looking stronger now.
First 10 tough games are almost played now , home draw in the League cup .....it looks a lot better.

I think the fact we were the better team despite baines, stones, coleman, mirallas, besic, cleverly, and peinaar all out says alot
