I think it's time a few of you done the right thing and meekly apologise for wanting to set this club back ten years by sacking off our manager last season. I'd do it for sure if I'd acted like a Geordie and wanted him gone.

I don't hate Martinez, I have concerns about his tactics, selection, and consistency that I have called out consustently since he arrived.

We're 7th after a decent start. So from the depths of last Christmas we went from a team staring relegation in the face to one who scraped the required number of 1-0 wins to come mid table to one that has had a decent start. Any 'victory' will only be one if we now go on and win something or qualify for Europe of some form.

The question is, if we come 8th or 9th, and don't win anything, where does that leave us? I hope this season will be the polar opposite of last season and we glide into fourth and win a trophy. If we don't though all we're really doing is what Moyes did but with better players.

Agree if we don't qualify for Europe this year with the league being wide open we are going nowhere and will just be an ordinary team, 3rd season with probably one of the most settled decent squads in the prem, he's got to do something of note this season, no excuses
