We're 7th after a decent start. So from the depths of last Christmas we went from a team staring relegation in the face to one who scraped the required number of 1-0 wins to come mid table to one that has had a decent start. Any 'victory' will only be one if we now go on and win something or qualify for Europe of some form.
The question is, if we come 8th or 9th, and don't win anything, where does that leave us? I hope this season will be the polar opposite of last season and we glide into fourth and win a trophy. If we don't though all we're really doing is what Moyes did but with better players.
There's a good possibility of only jumping a few places like you say as our tougher times will come against teams who come and sit deep against us.
If that happens then this thread will be classed as a stalemate. I hope not as the best thing about it is the tedious polarisation and petty score settling that everyone engages in.
Does it count if it was only once, one was drunk and we'd just been "mauled by the Tigers"? Just checking for a friend...
The rule book certifies this exempt sir. Congratulations.
Aren't you the guy that @GrandOldTeam vaulted the other week by revisiting a poll which asked something like "Would you take Moyes back as our manager" where you unwisely slid off the fence and voted for taking Moyes back in a heartbeat ?
Or was that someone else called Chicoazul ?
You pair of melts are missing the point. I generally vote for the least popular or most controversial option in any big poll on here. Check it out. I hate online polls, they're for self important quegs. No one cares what my or your opinion is.
If wanting Moyes in could guarantee two meltdowns on here is actively want him back.
Please can someone blend these images together:
And change the background from red to blue obviously.
There's got to be someone with these skill surely.
