Why are people saying Martinez's teams are attacking? Wigan have never ever struck me as an attacking side.

So he's managed to beat all the big teams at some point in the last four years with his relegation-battlers. My concern is how he fares the rest of the time.

In 09/10 His longest streak without a win (all competitions) was 9 matches. Their heaviest defeats were 9-1 at Spurs and 8-0 at Chelsea.

In 10/11 His longest winless streak was 5 matches. Their heaviest defeat was 0-6 at home to Chelsea.

In 11/12 He lost 9 games straight AND had a separate 10 game run without a win. Their heaviest defeat was 5-0 away at United.

In 12/13 He went 6 games without a win. Their heaviest defeat was 4-0 (home and away against United & home to Liverpool).
