That will be ignored as will vitor with little experience. I'm not against any of them but certain things seem to be left out.

watching a moyes team has given me some of my worst times watching football ( I use the the word football very loosely) the majority of his time I have had to drag myself to the match because I knew how numbingly boring it was going to be.

I for one put alot on the football played, it's no coincidence that we look our best when we get the ball down and play.
 
The only thing going for Martinez is his premiership experience and his knowledge of our players already. Has ralf or Perria even heard of seamus Coleman. Saying that both their CVs are miles better than Martinez, but I guess we will find out on Monday.

Exactly. That is why we as a club should be setting our sights higher than a relegated manager with premiership experience. Mourinho, benetiz and AVB have adapted very quickly to the 'demands' of the premiership. Give a manager with proven experience of winning things (victor) a chance over a 'safe' option like Martinez!!!

...agree. The periera hype in particular is not warranted when looking at his pre Porto CV. I think folk see the sun tan and armband and think we are getting a Mourinho but I fear that will be far from the case.

There is a different side to it - Porto have a good record of signing managers from smaller local clubs. Since they are extremely well run club there is a chance Vitor is also very good. They had probably dozens of better looking CVs available when looking for AVB replacement and still went for Pereira. For me, this tells a lot.
 
Resigned to Martinez now. Just can't get excited about appointing a manager that's just been relegated and has never finished higher than 15th. Shows a total lack of ambition if you ask me.

The only positive is the beak I'll be able to buy with my winnings.

And Martinez probably didn't hear about next big talents in Portugal or Germany playing in some obscure clubs at the moment. And Premier League experience means nothing.

Could be that mate, he comes from the same school as Jose and AVB who failed to get a CL place with Bale who had been on fire this season. Vitor record is not even as good as AVB either. But ive seen our fans drooling over his pictures. :lol: Didn't realized that our manager needs to be sexy as well.
 
AVB and Mourinho both won European trophies with Porto aswell as league titles, from what I read Pereira's record in Europe is rather poor?

What do you expect Martinez to do with the wigan tools, he had to shrink the wage bill while expanding the team with less money then the last 2 managers.
 
Ill say one thing about he believes and others around him do, i can see him and Bill getting on like a house on fire both dreamers.

Difference being Roberto has a bit of silverware in his back pocket.

Lets just be greatfull Mark Hughes is gone to Stoke.
