Dave Whelan has told Sky Sports News that compensation has been agreed between Everton and Wigan for the release of manager Roberto Martinez. Wigan will now begin their search for a replacement at the end of the week.

I'm actually frightened for this season. Martinez has my backing but I haven't felt a dread for the coming season since Wally Smith's days. I really don't want to go back to fighting relegation, please don't let it happen Roberto.

Exactly lets support our new Manager it looks it Martinez just need his contract sorting out & he will be in place - his attributes are different style of football to DM , but he can work on a small budget & has now a bigger team & better fans so lets show him that!
 

I don't want him but I think all the doubters should get behind Eveton now. Give him a season to see what he can do/cannot do. I just hope he doesn't make some crap signings.
