...apologies but just come in and from what I can gather still no official confirmation of Martinez's appointment. A rumour about a press conference tomorrow but nothing else. From the interview with Whelan on the radio last night, I get the impression that the Chairman are having their own little schoolboy game - Dave admitted calling Everton a small club to wind Bill up and now he's probably miffed him by announcing they have agreed the compensation. I'm sure Bill wanted a full unveiling but broken leg Dave has stolen his thunder. Stop playing games boys and get it sorted.
Regardless, I think Martinez/Everton appears a good fix but the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, as they say.

Kevin Reeves Is Everton's new Chief scout. Not that this is anything surprising, but obviously if this is the case then we have a manager in place, and that manager is Martinez. Not really news as far as Martinez goes as we already know the inevitable announcement, but just a bit of extra info.
