Seriously don't get what people have against kone raped us with a goal and assist at Wigan made me **** me pants when he was brought on in the 2-1 win plus he grabbed a goal and gave heitinga a free anal job in the quarters of the fa cup and geniunely looked very lively every time I've watched him

McManaman would be available for about £3m I'd guess, so I'd take him as a squad player definitely. Kone, no. He's nearly 30 and isn't much better than Anichebe to be honest. Wouldn't bother with any other Wigan players, I've yet to see McCarthy do anything to catch my eye, ever

The key word there is Heitinga.

Let's get behind him from day one ! Moyes made us a solid well run organised team but now its time for martinez to build on what moyes has left n bring the flair attacking football to take us forward !! Coyb !!

But Steve, because our previous manager excelled in his job, we never needed such drastic changes. You've got your wish though, moyes out new manager in. Let me ask you, do you stand by your ludicrous assertion that moyes would never get a bigger job than Everton? And more to the point, as he was doing such a bad job, you now see us improving on a top 6 finish?

It certainly was'nt a ludicrous assertion, it was an opinion, just like yours. We shall wait and see how whatsisname gets on a t United, just as we will wait and see how whoever is Evertons new manager gets on. Whatsisname is manager at Man Utd., not because he is the best manager in the world, but because he fits the bill as far as the Glazers accountants can see. Do you really think he is the best that Man Utd can do? In my opinion he will be looking for a job within 12 months and Man Utd. will be looking all over the world for a manager, and not just 30 miles down the East Lancs Road. Whatsisnames biggest problem, apart from his limited tactical nous, is the fact that Fergie will be peering down at him from the directors box at every game, and that many at OT will take more notice of Sir Alex and Ryan Giggs than they will take of whatsisname.

I don't think Martinez would have resigned unless there were assurances that he had another job lined up. Whether that is with Everton remains to be seen but I'd say its pretty likely at this stage. On a side note tony Scott tweeted that Leroy Fer has remained in contact with Everton and is open to moving this summer. Regardless of who the manager is, I hope that we pursue some worthwhile additions.
