Oh dear Steve, I can feel the bitterness pouring out. Are you not big enough to admit you were wrong. Manchester United could have had any manager in world football, and they choose Moyes. Moyes has clearly turned down several jobs bigger than Everton (bilbao, Malaga and possibly Schalke).
Also simple question, given the "limited tactical nouse" of his predecessaur do you see Martinez finishing higher than 6th when appointed? That should be a fairly simple task, given how limited Moyes was, especially given he was so poor you can't bring yourself to say his name?

haha, the 6th place trophy jibes will disappear into history, Moyes bashers like Steve here are already softening us up for a lowering of expectation under Martinez, we'll be 'celebrating' midtable obscurity this time next year, but at least we won at The Emirates, (the week after getting done at home by Palace).

I think it's laughable that he still can't admit to the FACT, that arguably the best manager the World has ever seen, named Moyes as the man who should replace him. (probably because it makes his years of ****ging the man off appear a tad stupid)

You obviously don't know anything about Malaga lad if you think it's a bigger job than ours.

With the amount of changes in the club after 11 years, and the players leaving, it wouldn't be that shabby.

It would suit me fine.

Everton aren't going to get relegated and we aren't going to finish top 4. The way to judge us are on derbies, cup runs and style of football.

Ultimately the true measure of success is cup wins. If Martinez can win one here, that'll be what he's remembered for, if we can't he'll have done no worse than moyes.

Agreed, I think Martinez would be top signing, also if he brings in Bale and Benzema we can fight for the top 4 (y)

That very same manager spunked money on Bebe. Proof with Moyes will be over the next 2 years - gloating now just makes you look stupid.

So the view of a man who lifted 38 pots in just over a quarter of a century is deemed worthless due to him buying Bebe?

haha, yeah ok lad.

As opposed to the magical 6th or 7th placed trophy under Moyes ?

Much of a muchness if we can actually win something under Martinez.
