I think we really should stick with him, as our number 1 going forward. Pickford is costing us points, while last night Olsen played a crucial part, in us leaving Elland Road with the win.

Unfortunately, I read a small piece in yesterday's Times where Carlo was quoted as saying Pickford would be back in goal for Utd.

Pickford is capable of worldie saves and worldie gaffes. He shouldn't be first choice and Carlo almost seems to be teasing everyone with his goalie rotation policy.

It's poor positioning for a relatively weak shot that's not in the corner of the goal. If it's Pickford, he get's crucified for it.

He should be keeper yes. But I just don't want most on here to overhype it. A lot of people seem to be pretending that this was some outstanding performance. It wasn't. It's a performance which everyone would slaughter Pickford for. If people are too accepting, we may well make this a permanent transfer and miss our chance to get an actual first choice keeper.

I don't think we'll replace Pickford to be fair and we'll look for Olsen as equal competition.

I've said before... we've got other positions that need addressing first cos a top keeper isn't gonna come cheap unless we gamble/catch a cheap young keeper.

Didnt look a great strike, he looked lumbersome diving low there.

Nah it was perfectly placed.

Has to be the option of selling in the summer. Cant really see any other reason why. Keep him in the market. Doesnt make sense but I cant think of another. I dont think anyone could.

He's thirty one, not too old btw. Imo you have to play the in form keeper, I'm not particularly anti Pickford but from last night's performance I would imagine Olsen earns his place at the moment

31 is considered in their prime for goalkeepers

Agreed but if it was Pickford you would have many arguing it should have been saved.

I hope Olsen gets a run of games like as Pickfords too erratic.

Long term I do think we need better than both.

No getting flustered pulling mad faces and constantly having to apologies to defence or screaming at himself in anger. Like you have that going on behind you as a defender you feel you are baby sitting a mental patient. He sucks the defence into his world of instability.

If we go pickford for United or and Spurs we are surrendering any top four hopes or FA Cup hopes.
