Well, I don't think Pickford would have saved Rafinhas goal, that's the type he let's in.

Olsen seems to do the basics right, which Pickford seems to fail at. He also seems a calmer head too.

The fact that he's making sporadic appearances and doing alright means he's doing pretty well. Goalkeepers need a run of games. I think Olsen deserves that.

Agreed but if it was Pickford you would have many arguing it should have been saved.

I hope Olsen gets a run of games like as Pickfords too erratic.

Olsen is a solid keeper, some people act like he is some random bloke plucked from obscurity but he is the number 1 of a decent international side (so is Pickford so it's no guarantee I suppose) and was highly regarded until he bombed at Roma.

Obviously a top class goalie would be nice but he is at least decent and for me better than Pickford right now, Pickford probably has the higher ceiling but also a much lower floor.

We are getting Donarumma in the summer anyway...

Pickford doesn’t do that ever, make saves at crucial times when we’re under prolonged spells of pressure. We draw at best if he plays last night. That’s the difference between a poor goalkeeper and a decent one, forget your nonsense about needing to sign a world class keeper, we don’t. This fella is an upgrade, that’ll do for now.

It really shouldn't even be up for discussion. I kind of get the reasons for playing Pickford but at some point trying to help a single players comes at the detriment of the team.

That's not to say Pickford wont ever be good again (I don't rate him personally...) but on current form the decision should be an obvious one.

Honestly for me Jordan Pickford doesn't even have a roof let alone a ceiling...

I do think he is capable of having games where he is outstanding but they are very few and far between and you never know when they will happen. The main problem for me is there seems to be a lack of trust in him from the rest of the team which is obviously a major issue for a goalkeeper.
