1. Ignore what he says unless we like it.
2. Play to his strengths.
3. Keep him for as long as possible before Selling him for as much as possible before we risk losing him on a Bosman

Simple really!

Do you go to Goodison they moan and groan at him for slightest thing. So you think knowone hates Lukaku?

Theres people who go to Goodison that would boo themselves if they could.

Those people are to be pitied.

I moan like a lil bish on here, about everyone and everything, but come matchday, I only support, I support Kone, I support The Clev and I even supported Niasse on his brief appearances on the pitch, ive never booed an Everton player, I cant say ive never booed a performance from the team, cos that would be a lie, but I dont single out players for abuse, they all get my support.

Theres a lad who used to sit behind me, ive moved seats this season, only a few down so I can sit next to the boy, that fella is no longer behind me, he spent all last season giving Ross all manner of abuse, theres no doubt in my mind that I would have dragged him from his seat this season, hes a lucky fella.

Romelu Lukaku: The ridiculous statistics

Date published: Sunday 13th March 2016 1:43

Romelu Lukaku has now scored 25 goals in 36 games in all competitions for Everton this season and has scored 130 senior career goals, two months before he turns 23. Since moving to England, Lukaku has scored 78 goals. He has only started 136 matches. The Belgian is Everton’s highest goalscorer in a league season since Gary Lineker in 1985/86, and we’re only in March. Finally, Lukaku is the first Everton player under the age of 23 to score 25 goals in a season since Joe Royle in 1968/69.

So, how does that compare with other strikers? Well, is the easy answer. For the longer answer, read on:

It was exactly the same with Bob Latchford! The amount of blues who used to [Poor language removed] him off for being lazy was baffling. The season he got then30 league goals the lad who used to sit next to me said "He would have got 40 if he wasn't such a lazy sod"? So he wants to move to a bigger club and pick up some trophies and probably another three of four million quid in the process, what a git!

I have supported Everton all my life and seen 'true blues' dump, all, over us, as have everybother supporter in the land, dont take it personally, they are all mindless slags, all of them, who couldn't take a dump unless their agent told them to clench and squeeze! If you can accept that, then things like this stop being upsetting?

Plus all this talk about a striker being lazy.
If you're the only striker up there, you have to choose when to run and put pressure on the defenders. You can't do that all the time.. It would be different with two strikers or if your midfield would play really close to you. Something which didn't happen last season.

He hasn't actually said he wants to leave though.

He said he 'wanted' to leave but got blocked. He's fine with it and is happy to carry on.

Makes me laugh how he's been totally misquoted on the Juve line as well. Clearly, he was talking about when he decided to 'stay' at Everton in 2014 rather than sign for Juve. It was nothing to do with this summer.

Stop being rational. Noone's read the interview.

A goalscorer that has a had a consistent 1/2 scoring rate at club level. Let's bin him off for the good of the team though mate.

In Rom's case they really do.

Hello Mr Condescending, Mr Duznot Givafook would like to see you.

Neither do I - what's your point in relation to the post you replied to you mutant felch monkey?

Really so stats make him better than aguero do they because you can manipulate stats how you like it.

Bet you loved Marcus Bent up front.

We finished 4th with bent. We have had Lukaku walk around the pitch not wanting to be here for 2016.

How many goals has he scored this year? He's currently on a 10+ game goal drought.

My point was if we had 3/4 good strikers who can score from different options we would do better as a team.

I thought we weren't allowed to use stats?
