He is a fine striker, perhaps one of the finest you've seen for Everton and if at any point you doubted him then shame on you. You're not allowed to celebrate his goals anymore so today was effectively a 1-0 loss for you.

Thought his link up and hold up play were excellent today. Took his goal well too obviously. Just getting better and better.

If there's one thing we need to bear in mind with Lukaku though lads, it's that Romelu wasn't built in a day.

Played well, this just wasn't the type of match where he was getting a lot of service and wasn't able to put his full stamp on it. I also rate Reid as a defender and thought he made some big last second tackles.

the guy has a horrific injury record, but is it just me, or is he nearly always fit vs us.
