If he did more pressing, like he did against Morgan he'd get more goals from it. He's a big lump of a lad, him bearing down on defenders would unsettle them and can cause a mistake. His finishing isn't in question.

You only needed to read the "he doesn't do that every game" bit.
Not when the manager says "we need to press from the front".
He still does press though. The manager has also praised him many times so he must be doing something right.
He doesn't.
The manager shouldn't, especially if he wants us to do well,
i find the lazy accusations quite unsettling
lazy in the same way yakubu, anichebe and saha were slated for being lazy. beckford was half lazy.
duncan ferguson patrolled a 20m radius in his second spell at everton but was never accused as such
Ideally, we'd play with both and have two up front - Lukaku and a runner for him. Didn't do us any harm between 84 and 87. Mind you, we also had a midfield geared to doing more than just defending in those days...!A brilliant goalscorer and some would have perfered we had a hard working steven naismith up front..
He's garbage, and I would drive him to Paris if I could drive, lived in Liverpool and my job was to chaffeur players to their new clubs when they get sold
