Sure...I think he has already proved he's not one season wonder thoughGot to keep it up though mate. If he bags 30, then you can start talking about 55m+ realistically.

100% agree. He's consistently scored a decent amount of goals. But for some people to rate him at over £55m at the minute is a bit ridiculous.
Disagree mateUntil he bags 30 goals a season he's not worth that kind of money.
Never understood this. Rom got 20 last season overall - why does it matter how many were in the league? We faced tougher opposition in Europe than some of the teams we played in the league.
Agree with the tougher Euro teams but goals in early League Cup rounds especially need to be caveated though don't they?
Why? A goal is a goal... without Rom's two against Barnsley it would've been 3-3.
Yes but the standard of competition counts when assessing the worth of a player. It's why someone scoring 20 in the premier league is more highly rated than someone that scores 20 in the championship.

Well, yes, but since going to W. brom, he's scored 49 premier league goals in 114 appearances, at the age of 22.
Think that record proves he's a top striker, if not in the same bracket as, lets say, Suarez.
His age massively influences his value too. How many players are there, with that sort of record, who still have a 10 year career ahead of them?
Just to be clear I think Lukaku is fantastic. I was just commenting that league goals, for me, is the principal stat.
I think league goals, but also goals scored in Europe should be counted as well as that's a pretty decent standard.
