So tired of fans saying this. We've been through this already, last year, and the year before. Look, we all know the situation. Everton will up his wages, tell him about the great players we're going to be signing, and do everything that they can to keep him at the club. And if any club wants to sign him they will have to offer an enormous amount of money even to bring us to the negotiating table. So there's no inevitability whatsoever about him leaving. Why worry about something that might not happen ? The man is terrorising defences and scoring goals for fun, can we not just celebrate what we have ?

It amazes me that we cry out for better players in the window and when we already have that level of player at the club it seems fans these days want to criticise him and pick faults rather than enjoy him. Because that's the end point, in his prime he won't be here, we all know it and his replacement won't be in the same class as him.
Personally I have always stood by the fact he will be world class in his prime, my thoughts have not changed on that either. He has everything you want in a striker and the fact he is scoring so well now well before he has really got going in his career makes you wonder just how many can he score? His play along side abother attacker shows he has more to his game than goals, we choose not to always take advantage of it. But yeah, over the last two months he just looks even better than before, either scoring 4 in a game like yesterday or going back to arsenal where he was fantastic for his play linking up with others.

You would hope he has the Messi syndrome.
The one where no matter how good a player you are, you aren't considered one of the best because you have Messi there. Same principle here, no one comes in for rom for massive money because there are fantastic strikers already at the club. I genuinely thought juventus wouod have been in for him last summer but they went elsewhere to a proven striker, showing the level out there now.

This is the league to be in.
We have a well respected manager and a billionaire owner with USM financial power.
Why can we not muscle in on the top table in the next couple of years.
We really aren't that far off. Midfield and attack is there or there abouts.
Just the defence and possibly the keeper to upgrade.

We aren't better than juventus mate. Don't get too carried away! Haha plus this billionaire owner hasn't really done anything on the field yet to show they are any different to any other one.
But we could improve to that extent and the way the club are progressing I can see us having a really good chance of doing it. January being the point, we signed a player for the now and the player for the future. That is all we need to do, have 22 players here with 11 of them young and 11 of them giving us a great first team. That would allow us to grow beyond simply pumping a load of money in the club. Long term planning as they say, and koeman himself is showing me at least he is actually a manager who knows what he is doing.
Rom is kinda key here, another season from him at least could make all the difference now, because having that top striker already here and having certain players like Ross, lookman, Holgate, Davies to make up part of that we are building something really great now

I just do not rate Italian football at all. It's garbage.
I would make sure Lukaku is here for at least the next 2 years. Just hope we don't lose him on a free though.
