Romelu Lukaku

Leading premier league goal scorer now, the 2 players one behind him both have more assists, if he gets that at the end of the season and we don't get Europe them offers are going to be big, we just have to make so is our offer

Think you make some good points but I'm not even sure 50/60 million finds a worthy replacement for him? Yes it would allow us to further strengthen squad overall, but my fear is his finding another 20 goal a season striker
Don't get me wrong, unless we spend like for like then certainly we'll struggle to get a striker who is on par with Lukaku for a guaranteed return.

Even then we will struggle as it'll be extremely difficult to attract such a talent unless they're still developing like Rom was originally.

However on the other hand, perhaps with the money we gain from any potential sale then we'll be able to sign a number of good quality players.

Those players combined may help negate the loss we would gain from losing Rom. As I said, I would much rather we kept Rom AND improved.

Although it simply will not be the end of the world if he did eventually leave, as long as the funds we generated were used wisely to improve us.

How so?

I wouldn't swap Lukaku for any striker in the league, that doesn't mean I've got to like him constantly creating uncertainty around his future at Everton.

He has signed a five year deal, if he doesn't want to honour it, then keep that between himself, his agent and the club he is going to.

Myself and many others pay money to watch these players every week.

Do you think we were all happy last year when our best player is discussing leaving us when we had a trip to Wembley on the horizon?

Also, is it impossible for you to debate something without insults? Posters like you make this place worse off sometimes. You're a grown man (I assume), try acting like one.
Are you still Here??

Thinking out loud here, but who could he go to?

Chelsea - possibly if Costa leaves, but with Agüero being sold, would he be Chelsea's first choice?

Arsenal - Couldn't afford him or wouldn't pay what we want.

Tottenham - Haha

Man City - Possibly, but can't see them shelling out for a striker when they're already getting rid of a better one in Agüero

Man Utd - Possibly, but Griezmann seems to be their first choice.

From abroad:

PSG - Doubt he would want to play in a bad league.

Bayern - As above.

Juventus - Bad league and probably couldn't afford him.

Real Madrid & Barca - Both have better already.

Atletico - Possible, but doubt they could afford him.

I personally think he'll sign a new contract and we're going to be spending a lot this summer to make a real go at a Champions League place.

Still making Aki do push ups!!!

What ever we do, if we really do lose him he has to go abroad, watching him playing for another side in the Premier League would be heartbreaking!
