Just seen Romelu Lukaku arriving at Bergamo airport with his agent. He said he was just there to have a catch up with Delboy. :cool:

Belgium is the place he goes back to conspire.

I find it dubious he's gone there for treatment on a "calf injury" no one realised he had.

There will be massive interest in Lukaku. He's big box office now and his current contract is winding down. Despite last week's comments about another Everton contract the smart money has to be on his leaving.

Not usually a conspiracy theorist, this did sound odd to me though. If it's a minor calf injury why couldn't it be treated in Dubai with the team? At the very least it suggests that Lukaku would rather go home for a week than spend it with the team which does not sound like a settled player to me.

the calf would have to be halal
 
Maybe, just maybe he is injured and given his immense importance to us the medical staff at the club decided not to risk aggravating the injury further by traveling half way across the world. He can go to Belgium, see a specialist and see family for a few days.
