But laughing boy says it as it is and doesn't tell us a load of kak.

Hold on. in all of this never let it be forgotten that THIS MANAGER ADVISED LUKAKU THAT HE SHOULD LEAVE US TO REALISE HIS AMBITIONS.

Hopefully one of the spineless turds he gets questions off will remind him of that.

How does that make him cack though ? He's been good at both clubs he's played at. There is nothing to suggest he is cack, just the unknown of whether he can play as well at a higher level. He's only 20 as well...

Largely a bench warmer iirc in a season where Fulham nearly got relegated. Outshone massively by Ross McCormack.

Would be a decent bench option for £10m but definitely not for £40m as a replacement for our world class goalscorer.

Disappointing but not surprising.

This isn't just an Everton issue. It happens to just about every other club.

Player contracts mean nothing in terms of loyalty, they just mean the selling club can get more money when the inevitable sale happens.
Yep, was always going to happen. In the summer would've been easier to take but not now with some big games coming up.

If you take Celtic out of the spl all the sides are league one quality bar Aberdeen and rangers who would be lower end championship quality with Celtic mid/top championship level

So dembele scoring freely against league one sides I think you need to put that into perspective. That's not to say he isn't good enough to step up but you also have to remember no one wanted him when he was on a free last summer!

Not arsed he's going it was inevitable. But all this should be coming out at the end of the season not when we are chasing the top 6. His agent shouldn't be telling the media bullshit stories. Sick off him mouthing off every time he goes on international duty anyway. Quality player and will be missed, we've replaced players before and we'll do it again. Hope he fails miserably of he goes somewhere else

We can't allow ourselves to be in a position where he is heading into the last year of his contract without an extension so we will have to sell in the summer. It would be a monumental disaster otherwise, financially.

I think he is worth more than £60m when Raheem Sterling cost City £50m but I don't think we would get much more, if anything at all, under the circumstances.

I expect plenty of suitors for him and if we get good cash, then whilst it's a shame, clubs with far more to offer than us currently have also had to heed to the inevitable in selling their stars.

Four good years from him and hopefully double our money and more, I'll take that with thanks.

Hopefully it could be done early in the summer as dragging it out would be severely disruptive. That may also cause us to be willing to accept £10m or less than we might get for him if circumstances were more in our favour.

It would still be very decent of him to sign an extension and leave anyway, but this is football and he is little more than a employee.

Will be supremely difficult to replace his goals. Not jumping on the bandwagon but I find it difficult to like him personally and see him as a blue, it only ever seemed he was on a long term loan here, and I won't miss the speculation when he leaves.

Huge challenge for Moshiri and co. Can't attach any blame to them but a huge test for the club in maximising his value and reinvesting wisely. I worry that this will dictate the whole summer and we will be in reactive mode yet again.
I honestly can't work out who these suitors would be. I know the names obviously but I can think of a reason for each of the clubs that have the money to not spend it on Rom. It could be a small market

Throw it all at Dortmund for Aubameyang and hope for the best. It won't work but just do it anyway so we can dream.

Please Steve Walsh - don't waste half the money paying premiums for English players either. No Deeney or Pickford for a combined £60 million.

Lukaku will be playing champions league teams for everton next season via the europa league in the end,its just that it will be the drops out from the champions league lol

The messed up part of this is if it is true the club werent happy with a 70 mill buy out clause rom wanted we will prob only get 40 to 60 mill this summer. Would i be right in saying that?

It's probably words minced out of context. And this manager still says it as it is regardless
