Dont disagree with what he does mate, its how he is as a person. I quite like Baz but it seems with PED its proper gone to his head and he has an ego for some unknown reason.

I know what you mean, I think Ped just gets over excited sometimes.

Baz has to reel him in more often than not.

I think 90 mil is fair if that's what Everton want. I'd rip it up after this media interview now. If we want CL I suggest we need him so keep him for a year, he will play well or it could be over for him CL wise. If we do make the CL next year his price tag would go up if not stay the same. If he leaves we get somewhere close to 100m at a guess if he doesn't then he still gets CL and Everton are on the football map again.

Can see him signing, but leaving next summer if we don't qualify for the Champions League, even if we nick some silverwear, he's arguably one of the best strikers in Europe he's not staying with us for kuch longer if ae can't break into that top 4, hopefully a dece t Europa run could satisfy him but doubt it.

If the buyout clause is the issue would be good if we had a higher price for English clubs, say £85m English, £60m European.

No club should ever have to match a players expectations or ambition, they are merely employees of the club.
The club has its own ambitions along with the fans.
He needed to keep his counsel and merely leave as he is entitled to do but at the end of season.
He's caused this at a time when we could do without it.
Please stop defending the baffoon

An Evertonian genuinely mad at an Everton player for wanting to win trophies with Everton. Actually wanting the club to not raise it's ambitions, just to spite the player.

Quite remarkable.

Absolutely top class commitment to being stuck in lifelong Evertonian misery. Good for you.

I would suggest that they are mutually supporting - you need both to have the will, the drive and the ambition in order to progress. Any organisation or business regardless of its type that treats its employees as "merely employees" is not going to be the sort of place that you would want to work and is not likely to enjoy much in the way of success, in my opinion.

Can't help feel there is a large amount of either spin or gamesmanship going on here.

If spin is the way, what a great way to get media time and he then signs, reaffirming our ambition.

If gamesmanship; Rom coming out and saying that now, gives him a few months of negotiation where the starting point is £140k.

Either way, I just cant see him leaving in the summer, albeit with my blue tinted glasses.

Same with Ross, can't see him leaving either. Always thought Rooney coming back would be ace but losing Barkley and Rom, then getting Rooney back, that will feel like a kick in the teeth.
