My view is he has a source that is twice removed from the situation who tells him things that aren't finalised or anywhere near finalised, but communicates it anyway.

Why he does this I have no idea, but as said he always leave wriggle room, which suggests to me he knows it's not a definite from his source, but he can't resist the attention of getting the info out anyway.

All he did was pass on info, a lot of which was correct as well as being info that was far from common knowledge. People took a dislike to some of it not coming off, but ok, that's football.

Anyway, it's irrelevant now but it's a shame that clearly genuine info has been written off by so many.

Rom signs or he does not. 50:50 proposition. ITKs, press, pundits taking punts on either outcome. If they are right they crow. If they are not then 'it was close but INSERT PLAUSIBLE EXCUSE changed it'. It is possible one or more person has some genuine info but in a situation like this it is impossible to discern.

Didn't see that from Anderson at all? I know he mentioned the Thursday but wasn't aware of him mentioning the time.
