Thought the ref was dreadful tonight. Couldn't wait to yellow card our players or pull them up for fouls. Not much went our way.

Honestly don't think there's anything in it with him and Williams.
Williams is proper fired up and having a stormer but getting peppered. Has a go at Rom for not doing his part. He bites back and tells him to shush.

That's the problem - "half decent" sides can't afford him, because the goals carry a premium value.
And top sides won't want him, because he's a liability for the team far too often.
We're a half decent side, and so he's here. He's actually at his level with us as a footballer, but the FIFA-playing, Premier League culture of "goals rule everything" makes people think he's world class. He's really not though; only in some departments. In others, he's average at best.
He's been exactly the same but hasn't scored goals.
