They were the reigning champions. Ok, they had that divvy Moyes as manager, but they still had proven winners who'd won a CL a few years earlier. They were 9th.
Spurs may be a shout, have several players that can put the ball in front of him to run ontoLukarku is a brilliant prospect, but his understudy in the belgium team is on Chelsea's books , hardly plays same typ of forward same attributes likes the ball playing down the sides etc - it still would be easy for him to struggle elsewhere before coming good - the so called 70 million is no where near enough his value in the right team he would score loads more in a team that builds up faster , and has the killer slide rule ball for him down the sides - who that team is i do not know in the prem only the red lot play direct that would suit him - City - Arsenal even Chelsea pass it around a lot?
yes they will drop Kane even without Kane they still win!Spurs may be a shout, have several players that can put the ball in front of him to run onto
Hahahaha. They were the reigning champions. Ok, they had that divvy Moyes as manager, but they still had proven winners who'd won a CL a few years earlier.
Correct. I'm now a huge Lukaku fan, but no one should be above criticism. The fact he went bitching to a UTD player didn't do anyone any favours.
As you said, and I agree, Williams was excellent, he would've noticed more than any of us novices whether Rom was doing his job properly. He prior form was irrelevant to this instance IMHO.I agree with the sentiment that nobody should be above any criticism but Williams?
It's not like he has exactly set the league on fire. He's a limited defender, who'd better focus on his own inadequacies. I would also be annoyed. Kompany, Alderweireld ... constantly shout at Lukaku; he never gets angry at them. To dish it out you have to perform first imo. Also these sorts of things happen on a football pitch; I bet they've already forgotten about it.
Saying this; Williams played an excellent match against Man U.
Hahahaha.
If I could be arsed I'd vault you all over the place on your thoughts on Moyes and UTD pre and post our victory there.
As said we were one of three to win there in close succession alongside British powerhouses WBA and Newcastle.

Agreed mate. It was fantastic as what that season.Doesn't matter who'd won there that season, WE hadn't won there for 21 years before we did it in 2013.
Monkey off back....now back on again.

I think it's unrealistic to expect for Williams to be angry with certain aspects of Lukaku's performance, yet hold back on criticism because he may have a bit of self doubt about his overall performance. Football is about the here and now.
Agree. It'd take a lot for me to criticise Lukaku now (I've talked some absolute tosh in the past) but I love Rom and I'd flog every single Everton player if it meant he'd see his career out at Everton.I understand what you're saying mate. I just feel it's easier to accept criticism of people who can talk the walk consistently. Also he should know that it probably would have an adverse effect; for as long as I've seen him play he mostly sulks when he gets unfair criticism (in his opinion). He just gets wound up and loses focus.
Already clarified btw that he didn't play a good match. Among other things he should have definitely passed the ball to Kevin (easy pass). And the ball to Ross. The counters were without any purpose; it was like they (not only him) didn't know what the other players were going to do. Like when he crossed the ball into the six-yard box and got angry because nobody was there. Stuff like that shouldn't be happening. Strange patterns, they should know how and where to run.
Oh well bad games happen.
Yeah, the 1-0 win didn't happen either. Cant wait for that one to be expunged form the memory banks.
