As bad as that is it happens. And he turned around and scored later in that game

I am a Belgian and I go to the internationals
My impression is that the main reason is that he played for Anderlecht, so the Club Brugge and Standard fans hate him.
He used to bully them for fun you know..
It's got to the point where I'll actually feel sorry for him if United buy Griezmann and Chelsea opt for Morata.Get with the program Carl, the lads going for a world record fee in the summer. Apparently.
Oh god!. He might even have to sign on with us for 140k a week when no one comes calling. Poor Rom.It's got to the point where I'll actually feel sorry for him if United buy Griezmann and Chelsea opt for Morata.
Imagine his little face.
It would be nice if he actually learned to attack the ball in the area instead of waiting for it to come to him and then waving his arms about when he doesn't get it. If he learned to do that (like Andy Gray) he really would be 'phenom....' Oops, a world class player.I don't really get the Belgium dislike of Lukaku. Yeah, he's not perfect. No one is claiming he is. Simple fact is that he's one of the top strikers in the world at age 23. Maybe in a few years, he'll improve even more and help bring Belgium some trophies. They seriously need better coaching though.
I know Lukaku's histrionics on the pitch can be annoying. He thinks he's open all the time and starts waving his arms around in disgust if he doesn't get the pass. That's hardly unique to him though. I think the top strikers need to have a certain amount of arrogance and confidence on the pitch. It would be nice if he didn't whinge as much though.

yep, it's a classic 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' scenario/imbroglio...The Lukaku thread on Sunday after the game will be like this...
If Rom plays well and scores.. "oh he only turned up n played well to impress Chelsea and he wants to go to them"
If Rom doesn't score and plays poor.. " Typical didn't turn up cos he supports Chelsea and doesn't want to cock up there title, and wants to be in Chelsea colours next season"

Its going to be hard for the lad this summer
He will be waiting on all these big clubs to come in for him, again, like the last 3 summers
