He doesnt "deserve" to be anywhere. He signed a contract at a huge risk to us and thats it.
His comments prior to the chelsea game are the polar opposite to the latest murmours.
I think hes staying as the rest will also on new contracts with big signings.

His value should be £80 million and no less or he stays, I think the club should really respond and put that out there, there's just a hand full of teams that can pay that sort of fee. All them years ago it was put out there we wouldn't part with Rooney for less than £50 million only to get half, these days are different. Putting £80 million price tag out there would show we really mean business, premium price for a premium player. He's under contract so we are in total control, not him or his agent.

As far as i'm concerned not really worried at all about losing him this summer, still have 3 years on his contract so no pressure to sell, new owner with a lot of money and tv deal means again - no pressure to sell.
Agent wants a move - we already knew that - problem with him is - the agent is hamstrung by the fee we paid and the fact that Roms form has moved him into a price bracket only a few clubs can afford now, plus a fair few of those clubs wont even have what his client wants - CL football to offer, his big contacts seem to be in Italian and frendch football, italian clubs cant afford him, french clubs only PSG - a lot depends what happens as rom wants to be numero uno and a team like PSG arent likely to just have one big bame striker - also does rom fancy french league football week in week out which is a huge step down for someone who has the ambition he does
Lukaku wants to play CL football - same thing he has repeatedly said since arriving, but again states its all in his agents hands as he doesnt get involved in stuff outside of playing -
Dad says it's time for him to move - but just lists clubs the media have linked him with - so not exactly ITK on intricate dealings, his statement about going to United conflicts with Roms interview about wanting CL footy next season as well
Next summer entering the last 2 of his contract - i will start getting worried a bit - should we be still at the point we are as a team, right now, it will just be the first summer that their is genuine interest and maybe bids for him - we will as happend with stones resits them easily
Key element is a new contract really - will give Rom's agent a huge financial motivation to keep stum for a year or two and give an assurance that should the club not be at x,y,z point at that time then we will listen to offers 'we' consider match his valuation

If Mosh hasnt even met the manager yet to discuss finances for next season - no chance he has met the agents of certain players
My guess is one of two things, need to speak to martinez then go forward with talks with agents etc - big one for that is are we in europe or not as thta will impact negotiations
Is waiting till end of the season - already knows he will replace martinez and then new man will get the ball rolling, in which case we will have to wait and see
New manager comes in - stones, lukaku and barkley sign new contracts will 100% be a fantastic way for the new manager to instantly win over the support base and also for Moshiri to quell any fans who wanted to keep martinez - and what i think is going to happen
But will getting new big signings mean we will become top 4 challengers? Let's be honest, the side we have is pretty decent and we sit in 12th.
I think we will see 2 maybe 3 big players leave in the summer as they can wait for us to maybe compete, or join a team that almost guarantees top 4.
Martinez only has himself to blame. In a season where Liverpool, Chelsea and United have left the door to CL qualification wide open, Bobby has led us to the dizzy heights of 12th place. Frankly we are lucky it's only Rom who wants to leave.

As an aside, I think Rom should tell his agent to pull his head in! I'm all for these blokes looking to improve their players bargaining position, but some clubs wouldn't stand for crap like that. I hope that one day, with Moshi in a commanding position, we are one if those clubs.
