Romelu Lukaku has hinted Roberto Martinez lost the support of the players before being sacked.

Lukaku: “The team did not perform at all. We won two of our last 11 games. When things are broken between the manager and the players, it become difficult”

Lukaku also reaffirmed that he has “already made a decision” about where he will be playing his football next season, after his dad said Everton value the striker at £65m.

Lukaku: “In my head, I know where I want to go but I’m keeping that to myself.

“You will know when it is concluded. I have to make a good choice but in my head that has happened already.

I hope we get a good price for him and get someone new in. I don't agree with having players in the team who are not interested in being here. I think we have seen from about March onwards that apart from the cup games, Romelu didn't give a monkeys and half the time he was just trotting about, trying not to get injured.

Hope we get 2 or 3 clubs bidding for him and get the price over the £65m mark and use the money to get 2 or 3 good players in

IMHO we should be completely ignoring any bid below that figure. He is a guaranteed scorer in the Prem, even with our compost heap of a midfield giving him zero to work with. Realistically only Ageuro is definitely better (Kane MIGHT be, but needs to do it for more than one season. Vardy might be, but at 29 years old he has no resale value. Ageuro.... yeah, fair enough.)

If he goes, I hope it's to PSG for about £74m.
