Fickle bunch aren't we. If he hadn't opened his mouth and was staying we'd all be looking forward to him kicking on for 30 goals next season. Instead, he's said he wants to leave, so we're all convinced he's useless and that we'll have no trouble finding a replacement to his goals.

Benteke was undeniably great at Villa. Who's to say Lukaku won't go turd when he doesn't have a whole team adopting a sucidal attacking style just so he gets chances.

If he leaves who are we going to buy as an adequate replacement? I can't think of anyone who is as good as him in the similar age group. Lacazette? But Lacazette is not a target man like Lukaku.

Lacazette, Batshuayi, Harry Kane, Anthony Martial, Gabriel, Dyabala, Morata.

That's just age im talking about, in terms of £65m for a striker then Suarez cost the same and is a completely better player.
Then I look at who I would pay £65m for ? Benzema, Suarez, Martial, Kane, Gabriel and probably any other top striker who is less than 30 years of age.

Is Romelu a tank ? Is he a top young striker ? Is he our best striker in years ? Is he a big headed tit who needs to focus on winning with Everton before moving onto bigger things ? Answer to all the above is Yes.
