If he does hand in a transfer request to try and force a move is that it?
It's pure speculation that he will and when you consider the more positive silence from both himself and his agent, I'd tent to believe he'll stay.

For how long? Well that's up to a number of factors including our performance this season and what financial benefits we are willing to offer him.

The Belgium international striker wants to return to former club Chelsea this summer.

Express Sport revealed the Blues were set to make a £60million bid for Lukaku this week.

But Everton are holding out for their price-tag of £75m as they try to hold on to their star striker this summer.

As a result, Lukaku is now thinking about handing in a transfer request to try and force through a deal, according to the Evening Standard.

It is claimed he is reluctant to upset Toffees supporters who have backed him during his two-year spell since joining on a permanent basis from Chelsea.

However, Lukaku may be forced to act with both sides in a stand-off over the huge transfer fee.

How do these Cretins know what goes on in rom's head? All speculation. He isn't going anywhere.
The papers have been selling him since day one. The summer we signed him permanently he was linked to Spurs, the Sh*te across the park, Wolfsburg. right up to the moment he signed papers didn't see us as an option. Last summer they tried to sell him, United were going to buy in last January and again this Summer because Jose was there and now Chelsea want him back because Jose isn't there and he was the one who didn't rate him. It's all guess work. Throw enough cr@p at the wall and some will stick - that's how these papers work.

It will get worse once the Pogba deal is concluded and Rom's super agent is free to whore his client around again. At the moment the noise is mostly coming from Chelsea and their London based journo mates.

I'd imagine one of the deciding factors for RK in leaving S'ton (as well as the money) will be the fact that they consistently sell their best players.

They've done it brilliantly and made a lot of profit on said players, but it does kind of put a glass ceiling on their ambitions.

I believe Koeman will have been promised that we won't sell our best players unless their valuation is met and that we're looking to build the team around Rom, even if Stones does end up leaving.

To improve we can't just rely on getting two gems in the most important position of the pitch. A lot easier to keep our proven goalscorer and build the team to suit his style (direct play in behind the defence), and get a 'gem' in as back up than sell him.

We don't know Koeman's thoughts though. He may think he can do better for the money.

We just have to wait & see.

Per the Dailt Flail ;-

  • Romelu Lukaku has told his Everton team-mates he wants to leave this summer. Chelsea are confident they can strike a deal for him at around £60m.
