Great performance from him yesterday. It's frustrating that he doesn't put the effort in physically every game because we all know what he's capable of. The defenders were bouncing off him yesterday.

Having said that, his main job is to score goals and apart from that rare game against Swansea where he missed a few, you'd usually back him 9 times out of 10.

We've got a very good squad now with all of these young players and it sounds like they're pleased with what the club is trying to achieve. He's even mentioned it himself, along with Barkley and McCarthy.

Would love us to be able to keep this squad together and let Martinez add some more young talent and see what else the Academy can bring through.

Lets be honest - when he is on it, he is an absolute beast - he genuinely scares defenders.

If he done that every game we wouldn't be talking about if he has purple patches then goes off the boil, we would be saying he is going to be one of the greats.

He scores goals, thats what he does even when he plays like he cant be bothered, if he played like yesterday every week, and scored goals - what a player.

Yesterdays hold up play, and winning the ball in the air was a joy to see - well in Rom, keep it up.

Has to be Naismith I guess....but it's a toss up between him and Del. They both offer completely different things, hence tactics of the manager coming into play for that specific game.
