We had a manger who stated that Lukaku could play for Barca and the PR attack on Lukaku was obviously not going to change his mind considering his agent had advised the world he was 99% done prior to this.


Negotiations were in private between the club and his representatives, professional and under raps. Club have done nothing wrong at all

Only thing that they have done wrong is not matched his ambition of winning trophies and champion's league football.
But that's not easy achieve

We offered to make him our best paid player with probably a massive sign on fee.

Lukaku didn't fancy it, thats all there is to it.

He isnt one of us, he doesn't love the club, he wants to win things and its a short career.

that said if the right club dont come in for him and clubs dont match his fee, hes going to have to stay for a bit.

The issue for me is you just know the club will just sit on their hands.

If he gets sold in the first week of the transfer window or on deadline day, we'll have nothing planned or in place to deal with him being sold.

If Griezmann goes to Utd then I can see Athletico using the cash to bid for Rom and I could see him going there....they could even throw Torres in with the deal and then he scores in the 94th minute in front of the Kop and kisses the badge. Happy days!

Chelsea fans are under the illusion that he'll play like Costa or drogba. Nothing like them he isnt that type of physical guy, hell score goals wherever he goes though.
