Because one rat strung us along but this rat openly refused to sign and made an issue of wanting to get away from the club at every opportunity. He left us with no option but to get shut and the deal was good, just a shame we wasted the money

We kept the useless 5 a season luxury player but couldn't sell the world class 25 a season man fast enough. We did a deal that was all about rollover and being United's lap dogs.

Lukaku should have been kept at least one year. In reality both his 2 years as we have a billionaire who claims money isn't an object. Either we cocked up big time or he's lying cause ambitious teams don't sell there best players every season.

I do kind of agree with what your saying but for me the criminal thing was too not replace Lukaku, this was were we messed up, not selling him, we really had an offer too good to turn down.
As for Barkley we couldn't sell him because no team wanted him

I don't remember us turning down multi million £ offers for Barkley before he ran his contract down.
Different scenarios, but the blame lies entirely with the 2 players involved.
