Romelu Lukaku

Whilst it is normal, this is our record premier league goalscorer who we all knew was leaving anyway and Everton didn't show the ambition with transfers to keep him on board.

He already stayed longer than he intended due to us consistently begging for one more season etc.

Young lad scoring 20 odd a season, didn't need to give him grief throughout the game.

Many blues are still in denial about the whole thing.
He stayed for as long as it took before someone else was convinced enough to buy him. He didn't do Everton any favours.

I don't begrudge any player wanting to leave, and don't care if Lukaku does or doesn't hold warm feelings for the club, but he's a fool if he thinks that he could have picked a better stepping stone.

nah we only spent about £150m. he thought we weren't good enough for him hence his shouts about Utd being a proper big club. he wanted CL football it was nothing to do with transfers.

mad that some blues support an ex-player over their own club and its fans.
We spent the Lukaku money to achieve that.. and they were hardly ambitious signings either.

Maybe had we signed siggy and pickford whilst he was around

We could've achieved cl football with an actual transfer strategy to improve a team which held stones barkley and lukaku.

Now we are a million miles away from even knocking on the door

They still would have left.

These players don't want champions league football. They want champions league wages and the chance to play for a "big" club. (which equates to roughly the same thing.)

All clubs lose players, even the bigger clubs. The key is to adapt properly to the players you lose, not to sulk about losing these players and thinking about what could have been.

He'll be 100% Anonymu Lukaku in this game due to the way Mourinho will set up.

If he has any great effect on this game through goals or general play I'll be surprised. His job tomorrow will be to wait for a chance to fall to him, more likely through luck than design.

He put in a great performance vs chelsea recently so he's got it in him.

Lol'd at anonymu

We'll see. Tbh I dont care if they win 1-0 after parking the bus or beat them handily with constant attacking. I'll settle for either. I just see Lukaku coming into this bang in form, and with players around him capable of loading the bullets for him.

I feel very confident that United will extend their grip on this fixture tomorrow.

I'm turning out to be v wrong here. Lukaku has been immense
