The move to United was supposed to be the platform he thought his talent deserved to be at. The flaws in his game were obvious to everyone, but he scored goals galore for us, so provided he delivered at the rate of say a Van Nilsterooy or an Andy Cole you could gloss over the weaknesses in his overall game. But it’s not worked out that way, the one commodity that he was supposed to bring in slotting week in week out - we can debate against what calibre of opponent another time - simply hasn’t happened with the frequency expected. Seen as a favourite of Jose, he’s behind Rashford on many levels now. He needs a team of the other ten set up to give him the service as he ain’t the greatest in bringing others into the game. I can see him leaving United.....and make no mistake, there will still be many takers provided the price is right. It’s easy to forget he was unplayable at times for us but he saw himself as outgrowing us. Size wise he has, developing to the level he aspired I’m less sure. No hard feelings from me, he did well for us and financially we did well from his sale.

I know its old, but, LOL.

I know lukkaku could work harder, but this seems like such an English way of viewing things. I see Milner highlighted. What exactly is the point?

Lukkaku's skill set isn't to run 12km a game. Millner isn't RS best player. Lingard is good but he isn't Man U's best player. I'd take Hazard ahead of Jorginho. Eriksen is great but is he better than Alli, Kane, or Son? Snodgrass lol.

It's a skewed statistic.

And in fairness I could totally be misinterpreting your post, my bad if I am.

I see he bossed the game again against another decent side. One thing you can always say about Rom is the bigger the opposition the more he steps up to the plate...the Kentucky fried chicken plate moments before the match. :p
