Romelu Lukaku

I don't think he would get enough chances to make a difference, because the required leg work wouldn't be done

Not because he's "lazy" or any of that nonsense , but because he's just physically not capable of putting that work in

We'd have to completely rejig the way we play to accommodate him

Is he worth that when DCL could easily start slotting or we could sign someone else more cut out for Silva's style?

Is how we attack under Silva massively different to of that under Martinez?

I wouldn't say massive differences (yes levels of pressing) in our attacking set up yet Rom bagged a hatful in that system.

Nothing to do with the system more so Rom needs to lean out as he's too bulky for any system at present.

If I thought Lewin would start scoring 16/20 a season I would obviously stay with him but I don't think that's going to happen.I think it would cost more than we could afford to get a player with a great work rate and a top goalscorer.

Back end of the season, reckon we were similar to Martinez season 1. Other than that, not really.

Rom would be required to do a lot more work both on and off the ball in a Silva system then he would have had to do in a Martinez one

Just look at how much ground DCL had to cover last season. Silva actually requires the striker to work in both halves of the pitch

It's tiring isolated work with little in the way of support. It's why it's so impressive that Do m could do it at such a young age

And again, I should stress that I'm not anti-Rom, but he'd cost a packet to get back, will be talking about moving again on the first international break and he just doesn't suit the current system we play

So it's a no from me, but I hope he does well at Inter

True the pressing is more intense however for me DCL is simply more an athlete than a top level footballer.

He'll do a job in the championship like Dwight Gaye, Cameron Jerome etc. manage against weaker defences however he's nowhere near good enough for the PL.

Will be interesting to see who Brands targets up top as not alot of strikers out there that suit the system/can score 15-20 goals a season.

For me Callum Wilson is worth a punt if we cant attract a top level striker.

I need to lose a stone mate can't seem to shift it I have cut my cream cake intake down from 16 per week to 15 doesn't seem to be working, any thoughts.

Yeah.... restricted window feeding. Fast 18-20 hours - eat for no longer than 6 or 4.... train just before you eat and the calories consumed will resupply the muscle rather than go to fat cells...

I understand you are taking the p1ss but that actually does work.

When you're claiming DCL is better than Lukaku you're going to get laughed at and rightly so.

An obese Lukaku is both literally and figuratively twice the player DCL will ever be.

DCL and Lukaku are incomparable.... unless DCL is going to turn into an immobile, lazy, technically poor footballer who just hangs around the penno area...or if lukaku is going to turn into a selfless all round player who just needs to extend his inability to score against better teams to all the others.

On a serious note if I had my tea at say 6 you are saying don't eat again till 12 o'clock the next day surely that can't be good for a working person.
