For those 27 minutes he's looked like a League one player. That's indisputable.

Actually it is very disputable, because against Arsenal he looked very good.

He was asked to play wide right and won a header with his first touch. He supported Lukaku well and drew two Arsenal defenders away from the six yard box to provide the space for William's winner.

VVD would entirely depend on just how close VVD is to Koeman - sharing the same agent who you'd assume is privvy to what the long term plan at the club is in regards to investment and ambition would be the only thing that gave it any remote chance really.

Theres a chance he sees how its going for Stones, but I personally consider our chances slim.

aye tbh mate i dont think many players ever look at what happens with other players much - otherwise chelsea and the like wouldnt have a revolving door with young lads who all think they are gonna be the next big thing when they get signed at 17-18

VVD also might not fancy joining a team without European football, he might want to see if we get it in the Summer.

We're not playing well, the squad looks in major need of rebuilding, we lost the derby but we're 7th in the league and that's what counts.

Still not sure what he was trying to do today, but it worked

His plan was smart with the first half tactics, either 5 or 3 at the back depending if we're in control of the play or behind play but the lads just couldn't execute it.

Never looked like getting scored on but it was obvious we lacked creativity going forward because of that, he changed that after halftime and got it right.
