It was a free header from 7 yards and he was grinning about it though. Not for me.
As for Koeman, as I said: what was the Mirallas sub in aid of? Anyone?
Beats me.
My first thought was "How Moysie is that?"

Lukaku would, a confident Barkley would, Coleman would be close, gueye yeah. Centre backs no chance, nor keeper. But my point stands if koemen was getting the best out of his players then I do think we are close to teams like spurs. He's not getting the best out of anyone though. That's fundamentally what his role is, I don't get the excuse of its not his squad. If he can't manage the squad then what kind of manager is he? He should be able to extract better performances and results from what he's got, the players are perfectly capable of more than this. Yes some of the responsibility lies with the players but the manager needs to get things right from the off, putting out the best possible Everton 11 playing to our best formation.
Lukaku is still playing the majority of games with his back to goal. Barry still starting games! Cleverly on the wing for a good period of the season when he's got mirallas and delofeu on the bench. Now he starts mirallas and he looks a threat. He's not helping himself, same as Martinez wasn't. Completely different styles of management bit equally underperforming.
That cross tonight (and let's face it, that is all he did of worth) was into the mix around the penalty spot, it wasn't a laser guided missile onto the head of Barkley.
Coleman put a better quality ball in for Lewin.

He did, and it was into the mixer. Barkley was covered by two Hull players and it was never one that was meant as a pinpoint cross for him. Don't get me wrong: decent cross, just not one worth going into raptures over. I'm actually amazed these days when Baines beats the first defender with a cross.Watch it again, Baines had about 10mins to cross the ball.
"Corrects things". There was ONE THING he needed to correct: the shape and organisation of the back four. That was it - just that. The rest was working.
He comes in and the back four are even more clueless and lacking in mobility.

1. The only way Hull was winning that was on a set piece since they already scored twice that way. Extra defensive body in the mix to help out. Also let the fullbacks attack more.
2. Probably thinking of the match on Monday and the FA Cup next weekend. We all know Deulofeu will be blowing by halftime and will need replacing. Bolasie's crocked and Cleverley is crap so who comes on? Has to be Mirallas.
And unfortunately we drew proper competition to start the FA Cup, we didn't get someone like Rochdale that our U23's could turn over while the regular players rest. This is probably our only route to European football next year so we have to go all out every round. We'll need Kev there too.
Spurs have pace power and application all through their squad. We have barely one of these attributes in a handful of players. On paper a few might get in but in reality they don't have the mentality to perform at the level that Spurs players are. Some of them have shown this across three different managers now.
The same players that got us a record PL points total are all still there, but laughing boy can't get a tune out of them and has them hoofing it into the sky.No david.
2 years of regression.
You do understand players age mate
Someone rob his golf clubs?A mate of mine went to the game up in Hull and he said that he saw Koeman silently weeping on the coach.
He feels it as much as we do.
