It's good to see some fans constant posting habits when we don't win. Rejoicing almost

Lukaku would, a confident Barkley would, Coleman would be close, gueye yeah. Centre backs no chance, nor keeper. But my point stands if koemen was getting the best out of his players then I do think we are close to teams like spurs. He's not getting the best out of anyone though. That's fundamentally what his role is, I don't get the excuse of its not his squad. If he can't manage the squad then what kind of manager is he? He should be able to extract better performances and results from what he's got, the players are perfectly capable of more than this. Yes some of the responsibility lies with the players but the manager needs to get things right from the off, putting out the best possible Everton 11 playing to our best formation.
Lukaku is still playing the majority of games with his back to goal. Barry still starting games! Cleverly on the wing for a good period of the season when he's got mirallas and delofeu on the bench. Now he starts mirallas and he looks a threat. He's not helping himself, same as Martinez wasn't. Completely different styles of management bit equally underperforming.
The same players that got us a record PL points total are all still there, but laughing boy can't get a tune out of them and has them hoofing it into the sky.
He did, and it was into the mixer. Barkley was covered by two Hull players and it was never one that was meant as a pinpoint cross for him. Don't get me wrong: decent cross, just not one worth going into raptures over. I'm actually amazed these days when Baines beats the first defender with a cross.
Last season, we weren't really any good in attack neither, Dave. Still enjoying watching us more this year, but very frustrated by his personnel selection, when the youngsters have been shaming the hasbeens."Corrects things". There was ONE THING he needed to correct: the shape and organisation of the back four. That was it - just that. The rest was working.
He comes in and the back four are even more clueless and lacking in mobility.
When you aren't playing well, the basics are fight and team spirit. Getting beaten twice and we come away with a point. Should have won it with the late chance but we move on. It's very early stages of Ronald's reign. I just don't get the negativity.
He's a kid delighted to be getting game time!
Do you know who's 'not for me'? Seasoned pros making awful mistakes like Jagielka, people like Barry who are finished, Lukaku who had another game where he went missing, Valencia who did absolutely nothing, and Robles who couldn't keep a clean sheet in a monastery.
Still, lets pick on a 21 year old kid who came on as a sub and decide he's somehow 'not good enough' because he grinned after missing a chance.
Lots of things that I don't agree with here.
Our players being "horrendous" - well, tell that to Howe, Mazzari, Moyes, Whelan etc. I think that the players are not bad at all. They just need clear instructions and guidance as of how exactly we should play against different opponents. Plus, they need help when the things are not going our way. Take today's game for instance. Barry's substitution was at least 5 mins too late, as our midfield had been overrun for at least 10 mins. prior to their second goal.
"Koeman out" shouts? Absolutely ridiculous! I am convinced that he is a far better manager than Martinez and he will prove that. He needs time. However, I expect him to immediately address our two main problems - the lack of energy and the lack of ideas upfront. I suppose that we will see signs of improvement come March. At this moment, I am concerned that he obviously can't get the best from what he has - something that the likes of Conte, Mourinho, Pochetino or Klopp are doing very well.
A
Cant get the best out of them??? We're 7th, finish higher is impossible. And how can you compare him with managers who have far better players???
Mate, how on earth do you enjoy watching the pigswill Koeman is serving up?Last season, we weren't really any good in attack neither, Dave. Still enjoying watching us more this year, but very frustrated by his personnel selection, when the youngsters have been shaming the hasbeens.
