Koeman has far better players not in the starting xi / not in the squad

I don't see players who are far better.

The back four is an utter mess. He's put together a CB pairing with a combined age of just short of 70 and continues to show faith in Baines who is woeful and will get even worse.

He's supposed to have sorted us out defensively. Anyone thinking that after the first half of this season need to think again.

We are a lot more defensively solid under Koeman. No more going 3 goals up and then losing the match 4-3

The same players that got us a record PL points total are all still there, but laughing boy can't get a tune out of them and has them hoofing it into the sky.

Osman Pienaar and Naismith had large parts to play in that season. Quite simply the creative play of Arteta Osman and Pienaar has not been replaced in the squad. We've also lost the goal scoring power of a Cahill or Fellaini. We'vecreplaced them with central midfielders who do jack all sadly. Not one of them can impact a game the way any of the above mentioned could. They were all top 6 midfielders, of the current team Gueye is the only one good enough. Barry McCarthy Cleverley Barkley Gibson are either too old, too slow, not good enough, not fit enough, or don't have the application to get to that level.

Must of spent last season with your eyes closed then. This is dull football, but last year's was just indescribably bad. We just don't have a team of good footballers- technically nor mentally. Willing to see how the January window goes- he doesn't seem to be going for grocks, so hopefully there will be a vast improvement!

Koeman and Walsh must be backed by the board in January and in the summer window to bring in their targets.
After that you can all fully assess whether Koeman can take us forward or not.

He comes in and the back four are even more clueless and lacking in mobility.

Needs to start every game while Gueye is away. Do I think he will even under those circumstances. No. Koeman is more likely to go out and throw about £20m at United for some dullard like Schneiderlin.
