Ronald Koeman discussion

None of the top six Premier League teams have more than one player over the age of 32 who has started 12 or more games this season. Indeed, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the only outfield player to have done so.

However, Everton have five regular starters over the age of 32 - more than the top six teams combined and more than any other squad in the Premier League.

But it's telling that every single one of Chelsea's first-choice starting line-up this season are aged between 24 and 31. Only three of the Everton team on Friday night fall into that category. They do not have enough players who are at the peak of their powers.

Lol

Shall we turn the clock back 12 months and review. Nah we'll leave that shall we, when we smash the saints you'll disappear again
No mate. Let's concentrate on our present manager shall we?

3 wins from his team since September 17th. Three and half months and we've won three games.

Hats off to laughing boy. He's supposed to be indisputably a better manager than his predecessors. Looks like it doesn't it?

You need to score three goals in order to go three goals up.

I'm just sayin' is all

And besides....I don't recall us ever losing 4-3 from being three up :pint2:

I know...

Maybe we never did lose 4-3 after being 3 up under Martinez (my memory is a bit crap) but it certainly seemed that way at timeslol

At least now if we would ever go 2-0 up (chance would be a fine thing) I would have no fear of losing the match.

Its why theres a 6 point gulf between 6th and 7th

The squad is horrific. Players peak and players age.

We're old and past it.

Martinez legacy.
Horrific my arse. Back four has three national captains in it and we are studded with international talent all over the pitch.

Why are you making excuses for this feller? Three wins since September 17th.

It's down to his lack of motivation and organisation. We have never once put 90 minutes in...NOT ONCE.

Id rather see us have shape and go for three points than setting up like cowards against good teams and fail to throttle bad ones.

Koeman football is cowardly. He has no faith in these players to get us up the park passing.
So no blame on the players who cannot complete simple passes? This year we are mediocre, last year- a laughing stock.
