Ronald Koeman discussion

Osman Pienaar and Naismith had large parts to play in that season. Quite simply the creative play of Arteta Osman and Pienaar has not been replaced in the squad. We've also lost the goal scoring power of a Cahill or Fellaini. We'vecreplaced them with central midfielders who do jack all sadly. Not one of them can impact a game the way any of the above mentioned could. They were all top 6 midfielders, of the current team Gueye is the only one good enough. Barry McCarthy Cleverley Barkley Gibson are either too old, too slow, not good enough, not fit enough, or don't have the application to get to that level.
Doesn't negate my point though. The players here were here when we got 5th and 72 points. How anyone can give this feller a free pass on the squad strength is beyond me. He is just incapable of getting them playing. Simple as that. Dont give a man being paid £6m per year that sort of excuse. He doesn't deserve it.

Yes ok, this is football. But if that absolute donkey of a previous manager hadn't left me with a pile of steaming white dog [Poor language removed] we may be better. Yes ok, we have the January window and I'll be shipping out the majority of el fraudos squad and replacing them with players who have heart

It's a long shot, but come on Ron say it
I agree, that is a long shot.

It's way over the 140 character limit, and as such would require a fundamental rewrite of the Twitter service.

Maybe he can just post "white dog shent" and we'd all understand the code.

Lots of things that I don't agree with here.
Our players being "horrendous" - well, tell that to Howe, Mazzari, Moyes, Whelan etc. I think that the players are not bad at all. They just need clear instructions and guidance as of how exactly we should play against different opponents. Plus, they need help when the things are not going our way. Take today's game for instance. Barry's substitution was at least 5 mins too late, as our midfield had been overrun for at least 10 mins. prior to their second goal.
"Koeman out" shouts? Absolutely ridiculous! I am convinced that he is a far better manager than Martinez and he will prove that. He needs time. However, I expect him to immediately address our two main problems - the lack of energy and the lack of ideas upfront. I suppose that we will see signs of improvement come March. At this moment, I am concerned that he obviously can't get the best from what he has - something that the likes of Conte, Mourinho, Pochetino or Klopp are doing very well.
A

Are you really comparing Koeman to those mangers who have had millions spend on their squads over the last 3 years

Must of spent last season with your eyes closed then. This is dull football, but last year's was just indescribably bad. We just don't have a team of good footballers- technically nor mentally. Willing to see how the January window goes- he doesn't seem to be going for grocks, so hopefully there will be a vast improvement!
Id rather see us have shape and go for three points than setting up like cowards against good teams and fail to throttle bad ones.

Koeman football is cowardly. He has no faith in these players to get us up the park passing.

The squad is horrific. Players peak and players age.

We're old and past it.

Martinez legacy.
