So, 19 games played we're halfway through the season. Here's how he compares to the last few years so far:

Based on league position (which is the only way to judge a manager compared to other managers in other seasons), he's well outperforming Martinez in the past two seasons then (despite having a £0m net spend in the summer).

I'm looking forward to him and Walsh doing the business in the January window to see where we end up.

Top 7 would be decent but Top 6 in his first season would be a great performance considering the other teams we're up against.

He finished 8th in his first season.

Lets not act like he got them performing in the league before he got the players in he wanted, they lost in the cups both times to the first decent team they faced.

West Ham knocked them out the FA cup and that was after Exeter City took them to a replay.

its still a decent impact after only 6 months managing in a completely different league

koeman's been in the prem for a few years now and his impact with us hasn't been great has it?
