i dunno what this means but if i have inferred correctly then i assume you are trying to say he was a good player anyway

it is still some coup that he was able to convince him to join us in the first place
Us or WBA

Tough choice.

And he went knocking for Ba and came back with Lukaku. He got lucky.

we'd probably be doing what we are doing now. being mediocre.
No we wouldn't be, if El Fraudo was still our manager we would definitely of been embroiled in a relegation battle. We certainly wouldn't be 7th in the league and we wouldn't of been in the top ten at any point of the season, whereas we've never been out of it under Koeman. We're on course to get 7th, a sharp improvement on 11th and 13th (we were 13th when Martinez got the bullet and I'm not convinced we'd of beaten Norwich if he'd of still been around).

we would be in a relegation battle now from game 6 onwards

The moneyed horse has well bolted lads and henceforth, any Everton manager is only a person to attend with with the stable's door ...and to dim said stable's lights.
We supporters will always support our club, thus the lights are just dimmed, not turned off completely, and the door's for mere gentle close; it's never slammed shut.

Though likelihood toward our ever again winning premiership title is anorexically slim.... (in mine or yours lifetime), a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for?

Such sentiment lends succour

Happy New Year to all

I've just read a few pages of people arguing there's no difference between finishing 7th and finishing 17th.
Well as a fan, it would mean finishing 17th I'd have seen us lose a lot more than finishing 7th.
I know there's no trophy for either of these placings, but as a fan I generally want to see us win more than lose.
That's the difference
