It seems fairly obvious to me that it was the club's fault. They didn't invest a penny, only the Stones cash was made available. One of the reasons we didn't get some of Koeman's targets is because we're so horribly indecisive and slow. Our people were probably haggling over a poultry difference and another club took advantage because that's what you have to do to seriously compete. Maybe I'm wrong and Koeman played a bigger part then I think over last summer's fiasco but I seriously doubt the club would of gone to the length it did to justify itself (like the cringeworthy Macathey is family comment) if that was the case.

Perhaps Koeman needed to be a bit more clued up in potential targets vs likelihood of completion.

Why did this keep coming on? 5th came three years ago, then 11th and 12th. This is that bad.
